We are seeking a motivated and capable Assistant Station Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our Natal Downs Aggregation. This is a hands-on leadership role working closely with the Station Manager to deliver safe, productive, and efficient station operations.
This opportunity is ideal for a developing leader looking to take the next step in their agricultural management career within a progressive and growing business. You will play a key role in the backgrounding operations, grazing and supplement management of growing cattle, staff supervision, and infrastructure maintenance and improvement, while contributing to Camm Agricultural Group’s long-term vision of “Growing more for Tomorrow.”

Support the Station Manager in the daily operational management of Natal Downs Station
Provide leadership and direction to station staff when required
Coordinate station operations on Natal Downs
Assist with planning and execution of station projects and seasonal workloads
Oversee maintenance of plant, equipment, fencing, and infrastructure
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, animal welfare, and environmental standards
Build positive working relationships with contractors, suppliers, and service providers
Previous experience of a minimum of 3 years in a senior station hand, head stockman, or assistant manager role
Mechanically minded with hands-on experience operating and maintaining station machinery and equipment, including tractors, loaders, graders, and implements.
Demonstrated leadership capability with the confidence to supervise staff
Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider management team
Sound communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong practical cattle handling and horsemanship/stock work skills
Commitment to safety, animal welfare, and best-practice land management
