Welcannah Feedlot, near Moree, backgrounds and feeds between 2,500 to 3,500 head of cattle, and we are looking for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on livestock operation and being part of a solid team environment.
This is a varied, hands-on position working across all areas of the feedlot operation.
Duties may include:
Machinery operation
Pen riding
Livestock handling
General repairs and maintenance
Assisting with daily feedlot operations
Backgrounding cattle
We are seeking someone who is:
Reliable and hard working
Enthusiastic and willing to learn
Able to work well within a team
Passionate about cattle and rural work
Previous feedlot or livestock experience is preferred, however attitude and reliability are valued most.
Training will be provided for the right applicant.
