Station Hand/ Machinery Operator | Douglas Daly | NT

• A Station Hand/ Machinery Operator opportunity is available within a family-owned and operated enterprise, located in the Douglas Daly district, approximately two hours (250km) south of Darwin, Northern Territory.

• The successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting all aspects of farm operations.

• Livestock handling

• Operating machinery such as John Deere tractors, balers and feed out mixers

• General property maintenance

• Mustering on bikes

• Experience in operating a range of farm machinery

• Previous experience in agriculture

• Ability in maintaining machinery and vehicles to a high standard

• Experience with GPS guided tractors.

• Very clean, tidy and sober habits

• Good communication skills

• Ability to follow instructions and work both in a team and unsupervised

• Manual driver’s licence essential

• Single, air-conditioned accommodation with ensuite is provided.

• Large air-conditioned communal kitchen/dining/lounge area.

• Supportive and friendly team environment

• Wages negotiated on experience
