Windmill & Pump Service Technician | Townsville | QLD

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Windmill & Pump Service Technician to join our team at Uplands Services in Townsville work in the region.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is motivated, self starter, safetyconsious, mechanically minded, of clean sober habits with experience on theland and wants to be part of an established dynamic workplace.

Uplands Services is an established business, based in Townsville, operating in North and North WestQueensland, supplying, installing and maintaining water supply infrastructure.

We service windmill and pumps from small backyard plots to wide scale grazing operations in remote areas.

• Assist with service and repair windmills and pumps

• Operate & maintain vehicles, hand and power tools

• Assist in diagnosis, access and repair of solar and electric submersible pumps

• Install and maintain water supply infrastructure

• Work safetly and effeciently in remote areas

• Work collaboratively with team members to achive goals

• Maintain a high standard of professionalism, safety and customer service

The successful applicant will have:

• Open manual licence , MR preferred

• Experience on the land and in the bush desirable

• Comfortable working at heights

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Reliable and positive attitude

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

• Mechanically minded

Previous experience preferred, however on the job training is provided.
