The season will run from April to November in 2027. Opportunities in the Meda stock camp are rare, so this is a great chance join the team where you will learn considerably through the season. This role is best suited to those wanting a career in the cattle industry Horse riding experience is critical. Cattle experience is preferred, but we will still consider those who have other skills or experiences that are transferrable to a large cattle station.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Mechanic with a broad skill set to join our cattle station team in Central Australia; when not conducting mechanical duties you may be required to carry out cattle work. This is a hands-on and varied role suited to someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems and keeping a diverse range of station machinery and vehicles operating reliably in a remote environment. Previous experience in agriculture, cattle stations or a similar rural operation would be highly regarded.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Working Manager to join our team on a cattle breeding property near Koumala, Queensland. This is a hands-on position suited to an honest, capable and practical cattle operator who can confidently oversee day-to-day property operations while working closely with the owner.

We’re looking for an experienced Head Stockman to join the collaborative team at Alexandria Station, reporting to the management team and working alongside other Head Stockman and crews across Alexandria. Leading a crew of seven station hands, you’ll play a key role in keeping the stock camp running smoothly, safely and efficiently. This role calls for someone who is organised, adaptable and always thinking a few steps ahead.

Goodwood Pastoral Company is seeking a practical and dependable Station Hand or couple to join our small team on our family-run cattle property near Boulia, Queensland. This is a hands-on position offering plenty of variety, from cattle work, mustering and property maintenance to helping care for the garden, lawns and pool around the homestead.
