We are looking for a qualified and experienced Mechanic with a broad skill set to join our cattle station team in Central Australia; when not conducting mechanical duties you may be required to carry out cattle work. This is a hands-on and varied role suited to someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems and keeping a diverse range of station machinery and vehicles operating reliably in a remote environment. Previous experience in agriculture, cattle stations or a similar rural operation would be highly regarded.

We’re looking for an experienced Head Stockman to join the collaborative team at Alexandria Station, reporting to the management team and working alongside other Head Stockman and crews across Alexandria. Leading a crew of seven station hands, you’ll play a key role in keeping the stock camp running smoothly, safely and efficiently. This role calls for someone who is organised, adaptable and always thinking a few steps ahead.

We are always keen to receive interest from top talent to work on our cattle stations & feedlots and we look for a variety of backgrounds.  From strong operational experienced team members, station hands, cooks, gardeners, trades people, equipment operators or university graduates.   You'll need to have permanent working rights and be looking for long term, stable career with an industry leader!

Join the team at Pack Saddle Ag for the remainder of 2026, we have 2 positions available in our contract mustering camp based in the Northern Territory. Muster cattle using helicopters, motorbikes and horses (strong focus on horsemanship). You will be camped out most of the time. This position is not available to Working Holiday Visa Holders (Backpackers). Nor do we accept applications from overseas or offer sponsorship to overseas jobseekers.
