No quad or two-wheeler bikes are used.  Horse riding skills are not necessary for the positions. Each candidate will complete a verification of competency on all equipment as part of their induction process.

We are currently seeking mustering staff experienced in mustering on horseback (and able to shoe their horse confidently) and two wheel motorbikes , as well as relevant skills required for fencing and yard, tank and trough building works. You will be working long days in remote areas, living in our mobile camp, prior to mustering season which typically starts in April, we may need skilled staff for yard building and fencing works. Applicants with welding, fencing or yard building skills/ experience in addition to mustering experience on horse/ motorbike will be favourably considered

You will be based at Yadlamalka Stn, 50km from Pt Augusta, but willing to move between Beltana, Lake Torrens and Wilkatana stations for mustering rounds and station projects. This position is considered a long term position and has the potential to develop into Overseer for the right applicant. The property group run a mix of  Angus cattle, Dorper sheep, terminal joined Merinos and Rangeland Goats.
